INKK MOBILE (FIJI)

Launched in November 2007, INKK Mobile is the second mobile phone operator in Fiji Islands.

INKK Mobile is positioned as a fun, accessible brand with a value for money proposition suitable to the expectations of Fijian customers. In line with this core value position, customers only pay for what they use as Inkk Mobile bills by the second as opposed to the standard 30-second allotment. This product feature has been a fresh rate plan initiative for Fiji and has been extremely successful in recruiting and retaining customers.

The marketing brief awarded to Moonshine and Media Futures required creative and strategic support for a brand and product launch in Fiji.   The initial challenge was building a brand with new consumer offers in a market dominated for 13 years by a single mobile supplier.  Thus a major marketing objective was to obtain market share, and as stipulated in the brief, this needed to be a minimum of 20,000 customers in one year.

Here we are18 months later and Inkk now has 200,000 customers and growing (in a market of 1,000,000).

Matt Prichard is Jailbait

Matt Pritchard Is Jailbait is an interactive cross-platform experience bridging the gap between television,
online and mobile through viral entertainment. The Jailbait project was commissioned by ZON3D,
a targeted niche content supplier of action-sports themed mobile phone content.

Moonshine produced the campaign creative and managed the design of the www.zon3d.com website and mobile WAP
site, film production of the viral and television assets, post-production and distribution services relating to the Jailbait
television special and a PR communications strategy supporting the campaign launch.

The narrative premise for the campaign revolves around infamous entertainer Matt Pritchard (from Dirty Sanchez fame) who
has been thrown in jail on a trumped-up indecent exposure charge. By visiting the website, www.jailbaitlive.tv, the audience
are invited to tap into a closed-circuit video feed direct from his jail cell and are encouraged to type in orders which Pritch,
their subservient celebrity, is then compelled to respond to. A sophisticated call-and-response engine sends a video clip
back to the viewer’s computer or mobile phone in real time. Moonshine continue to work closely with the ZON3D brand
and it parent company Bullroarer in a creative and strategic capacity.

Ridley Bike and the Tour de France

Cadel Evans, Ridley Bike and the Tour de France - Competition Case Study
Ridley Bikes has built bicycles, carbon fiber and aluminium frames since 1990 and quickly became the
leading manufacturer in Belgium. Ridley racing bikes have become synonymous with success as shown
by the spectacular performance of brand ambassador Cadel Evans in the 2008 Tour de France.
Moonshine was commissioned by Ridley Bikes Australia (Pacific Brands) to create and manage a
consumer competition that generated brand and product interest, closely associated Cadel Evans with the
Ridley brand, and bolstered the registered members of the Ridley Australia consumer database.
Teaming up with SBS, the official Tour broadcaster, Moonshine coordinated a consumer competition that was promoted
on air nightly for one month. The TV commercial promoting the competition strongly reinforced Cadel Evans as riding
Ridley and promoted the new top-of-the-line product as part of the prize pool. Moonshine oversaw the TV commercial
production and placement on SBS as well as supporting the campaign with a targeted communications strategy.
The competition received over 60,000 unique entries and has opened new direct marketing channels to Ridley Bikes in
Australia. Moonshine continues to work closely with Ridley as well as associated bike brands including Malvern Star.

Cross Platform Specialists

Cross-Platform Specialists

“BOB! IT’S TIME TO ENGAGE!”

These days it’s a multi media wild west out there, thanks to ever increasing media platforms pushing the information frontier and the way in which audiences interact with products – be they chocolate bars, washing powder, or film releases. On an average marketing plan, simply tying TV, print and radio together just doesn’t cut it anymore. So what to do when the budgets are tight and the grants are scarce?

A boutique agency based in St Kilda, seems to have the answer on wrangling rogue media to deliver that elusive ‘interactive’ audience experience – an answer that the film funding bodies are certainly nodding their heads to.

As Mike Hill, founding Creative Director of Moonshine, puts it, “Interactive technologies operating across multiple-platforms offer filmmakers enormous creative marketing and storytelling potential.

“The role of storytellers has expanded dramatically in recent years to encapsulate a brave new world of rapidly developing communication platforms that talk directly to a vast cross-section of your potential audience. We consider theses powerful tools pivotal to the success of all upcoming film and television releases in Australia.
